The PHSF is the philanthropic arm of the
Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic
Shrine (AEAONMS) and raises funds to
financially support the Prince Hall Shriners national programs.
SAM provides “at-risk” and “high-risk” African -American male youths a
forum to improve educational deficiencies. PHSF will award grants to
Prince Hall Shriners, at the local, county and state level, in order to
provide mentoring and tutoring in critical academic disciplines.
Local volunteer tutors, counselors and
college students will be encouraged to assist with this initiative.
NDI
is a collaborative effort between the A.E.A.O.N.M.S.
and the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The initiative addresses
the shared concerns about the devastating impact of diabetes in the
African-American population. The PHSF makes an annual donation to the
ADA to support the ADA’s education and awareness programs and, moreover,
to fund research in finding a cure.
SA
assists low-income students who have achieved academic success in high
school. PHSF will award Opportunity Grants and Scholarships for eligible
students to further their education achievements in trade schools and in
colleges/universities.
